Flurys” distils the timeless spirit of Kolkata’s iconic Swiss confectionery, Flurys, through Leena’s insightful photography. Leena documents the rich tapestry of life within its walls, from the gentleman who has perused the day’s news over the same rum ball for four decades to the grandmother imprinting her family tradition with the hallmark Silvana birthday cake. Each photograph is a vignette, chronicling the enduring customs and the personal rituals that Flurys has hosted since the pre-independence era. It’s a celebration of continuity in a world of change, framed in the warm glow of this historic patisserie.
