In “At Hampi,” Leena bridges the realms of ancient history and geology through her lens. This series illuminates the stark beauty of Hampi’s frozen lava landscapes and gravity-defying rock formations, reminiscent of the legendary Gondwana Land, the oldest land body in the world today.

Capturing the essence of this storied locale, Leena’s photographs narrate the earth’s age-old tales and bring to life the epic narratives embedded in its stones. Through these images, one can sense the Ramayana coming alive; it’s as if the gods played seven stones and left the scene. Each image is a testament to Hampi’s enduring splendour, where every rock and river whispers the sagas of bygone eras.
